作者对初生大白鼠的小支气管、细支气管、终细支气管及呼吸细支气管粘膜上皮细胞的超微结构进行了观察,发现呼吸上皮内确有分散存在的、含致密核心颗粒的细胞。该细胞的形态结构与APUD细胞颇相似。作者对是否按颗粒的大小和核心的电子密度不同而将细胞分型以及对这些细胞的功能进行了讨论。
The authors observed the ultrastructure of bronchial, bronchiole, end-bronchiole and respiratory bronchiolar epithelial cells of newborn rats and found that there were indeed scattered and densely packed core-containing cells in the respiratory epithelium. The morphological structure of the cells is quite similar to APUD cells. The authors discuss whether cell typing should be based on the size of the particle and the core electron density, as well as the function of these cells.
