In response to the deteriorating childhood obesity problem, the government of the leader territory recently considered setting limits on junk food advertisements targeting children and plans to require the supermarket checkout shelves unhealthy food. According to the Times, 1 in 4 leaders are overweight or obese while 1 in 5 Canberra children drink at least 4 cups of sugary drinks a week. To foster healthy eating habits for children, the leader government decided to set limits on junk food ads targeting children.
