介绍了日本高层建筑最常用的支撑构件——高强度大直径厚壁钢管的使用概况,JFE公司生产的建筑用大直径厚壁钢管的研发进展以及该类钢管在力学性能和焊接性等方面的特殊要求。通过调整钢板的化学成分及制造工艺,以减小钢管基体材料的屈强比;同时还要考虑制管前后钢板力学性能的变化,通过调整制管工艺减少加工硬化,如加热成型或制管后进行热处理等,以保证所生产的钢管具有低屈强比和足够的韧性,满足高层建筑的使用要求。
