心理学主要针对人类心理现象和心理现象发生规律进行研究和分析。在医院图书馆中,相对于其他图书馆,其读者较为特殊。读者心理学主要研究的是读者的阅读心理和阅读规律,其中包含了读者的阅读需求和读者对图书的选择心理。书本是用来阅读的,每个读者都有自己的阅读需求,每本书都有自己的作者和独特的内容。满足不同读者的需求,减少阅读时间、提高阅读质量的主要措施就是“读者服务”。因此,针对医院图书馆的特殊阅读群体,读者服务质量在图书馆工作中尤为重要。医院图书馆是专业性的大型图书馆,在图书馆工作中要认真地做好读者心理特性研究,研究医院读者群的阅读及选择心理特点,才能有效提高图书馆的服务质量,将服务工作有针对性地做好,保障读者的阅读需求,为读者创造一个高效阅读空间。
