本文采用Fitzpatrick(2007)关于词汇联想反应词的定性分析范式对独立学院理工科大学生英文单反应词的词汇联想结果和爱丁堡词汇联想数据库的相关数据进行比较分析,结果表明大学生虽然能够对某些英语词在一定程度上形成概念性心理表征,也能借助汉语词通达与英语词对应的语义表征,但是,其意义联想和位置联想强度较英语母语者弱。可能因为过分依赖词的结构和视觉特征,他们与英语母语者最大的不同是,其反应词主要体现了他们对英文刺激词的形态联想。大学生可能依据词的形态特征来组织英文词的心理表征。
This paper uses Fitzpatrick’s (2007) qualitative analysis paradigm of lexical associative response words to compare the lexical association results between English single-reaction words of college students in science and engineering with the relevant data of the Edinburgh lexicon association database. The results show that although college students can apply some English To a certain extent, words form conceptual mental representation, and can also reach the semantic representation corresponding to English words by means of Chinese words. However, the meanings of associative associations and positional associations are weaker than native English speakers. Perhaps because they rely too much on the structural and visual features of the words, their biggest difference from English speakers is that their response mainly reflects their morphological associations with English stimulus words. College students may organize the psychological representation of English words according to the morphological characteristics of the words.
