该科在微波组织凝固治疗痔的实验研究基础上开展了临床治疗，并对200例痔患者进行了临床疗效观察。体会是：微波组织凝固治疗痔易控制、操作简单、安全性好，凝固组织境界分明、组织损伤小，病人痛苦小，微波组织凝固治疗痔后残存痔核明显缩小、萎缩或消失，并且愈合快，止血迅速，所以临床疗效满意，病人易于接受。因此认为微波组织凝固治疗痔是一种比较理想的方法，值得推广、普及应用。
