Sydney Showground at Sydney Olympic Park area was planned and developed as part of the Sydney Olympic 2000 Master Plan， which included the creation of the Olympic venues and public spaces and parklands. It is the events precinct at Sydney Olympic Park. It was established in 1998 as a purpose-built home for major events as part of the NSW Government’s multi-million dollar development of the site for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. It is an integral part of the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW （RAS）， a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to promoting excellence in agriculture. Every year， we host the Sydney Royal Easter Show， the flagship event of the RAS and the nation’s largest annual event. Our profits are invested back into supporting Australian agriculture and rural communities.
