提出了一种基于脉冲自身强度相关调制的新型全保偏主动锁模激光器。利用脉冲强度前馈结构结合双驱动强度调制器,实现与脉冲自身强度相关的幅度调制,形成两种完全不同的稳定锁模状态。理论研究了脉冲前馈在主动锁模中的作用,实验验证了脉冲前馈在10GHz谐波锁模时抑制了超模噪声,在基频锁模时可饱吸收。该激光器工作稳定,具有多种输出脉冲特性。
A new type of fully-mode-locked active mode-locked laser based on impulse self-intensity modulation is proposed. Pulse intensity feedforward structure combined with dual-drive intensity modulator to achieve its amplitude-dependent pulse amplitude modulation, the formation of two completely different stable mode-locked state. The effect of pulse feedforward in active mode-locking is theoretically studied. The experimental results show that the impulse feed-forward can restrain the super-mode noise when the 10GHz harmonic mode-locked and the full-mode mode-locked mode. The laser is stable and has a variety of output pulse characteristics.
