中国自古以“食”闻名天下,菜肴精美别致,菜系名目繁多,菜肴的名称更是丰富多彩,别出心裁。有的菜肴名或逗趣谐谑,或典雅别致,或含义隽永;还有菜肴名借用成语典故、轶闻传说,构思奇巧,充满吉祥喜庆之气,美不胜收。菜肴名文化是中华饮食文化中的一朵绚丽奇葩。以颜色起名的:有红烧鱼、贵妃红、红袍大虾、白斩鸡、白切火腿、白玉双脆、黄焖羊肉、兰花菜心、青红萝卜、黄肉翅、黑鱼肠、紫萝炒胗片、金钱虾塔、碧绿鱼丸、绿豆芽炒韭菜等;
