三明钢铁厂三座高炉(共944m~3),三座15t顶吹转炉,七条轧钢生产线,轧钢生产能力大于炼钢,炼钢能力大于炼铁,在这样装备条件下,不增加投资建高炉或者高炉扩容改造,怎么样挖潜上规模效益?三钢选择高炉加小铁厂生铁块(本厂的渣钢),转炉多加废钢、生铁办法,本省有两个有铁无钢企业,生铁块好买,运输方便。1997年1～10月份高炉加铁(包括本厂的渣钢)121.14kg/t铁,转炉加铁、废钢186kg/t钢。1997年1～10月份生产铁650608t,同比增长21.64%,钢690232t,同比增长27.56%,钢材685104t,同比增长45.01%,铁钢比0.943,钢比铁多39624t。多数职工对总厂这个选择认为是正确的,但是,也有少数职工有异议“认为高炉加铁块会增加铁的成本(外购铁到厂平均价1099.81元,包括运费与加工费);高炉加铁喷煤量会减少;高炉加铁对炉顶设备磨损严重;加铁炉温不好控制,影响高炉操作等。1号高炉(350m~3)没有加铁,3号高炉(300m~3)加铁,两座高炉指标比较如表1所示。
