翻译原则不能等同于翻译标准，它是对于翻译整个过程的导向，具体而言，是指导译者如何选择翻译材料、如何理解源语文本意义、又如何构建译语文本。本文认为翻译的基本原则应该是选材适当，理解合理，译文得体。
