在中国画这个独立自存的艺术系统中,文人画与现代水墨的审美特性均以个人意念为主导,对客观世界进行主观拣选与取舍,作或意象、或抽象的表现。二者的语言形态与审美价值尺度虽然不同,但其根本要素均在于通过水墨艺术创作来抒发人类本性里的个性情感,因而文人画与现代水墨之间有了共通性。人类社会的发展过程,曾不断出现一种政治替代另一种政治,却没有一种艺术可以代替另一种艺术。一种艺术与另一种艺术之间可以互相影响,互相渗透,但艺术的特性正在于它自身的不可替代性;正是这种不可替代性支持着艺术的个性。中国画的艺术魅力往往就在于此。中国画其所以具有中国文化的象征意义,是因为它隐匿着中国文化关于中国人认知他所存在的这个世界的普遍方式,有其特定的文化意象。作为一种符号识别系统,它所具有的文化含义首先是一种语言样态所包含的文化值,其次是其符号所蕴涵的文化线索。由此亦可以理解,为何在其惯常样态中会出现某些超常态的样式以及背叛性形态,否则它只能是顺应时流的衍生品。文人画产生于艺术发展的自律性。从审美意识的角度看,当主体感受的丰富性在社会实践中不断发展到相当成熟阶段
In Chinese painting, an independent and self-depositing art system, the aesthetic characteristics of both literati painting and modern ink and wash are dominated by personal ideas, and are subjectively chosen, chosen or imagined or abstractly represented in the objective world. As a kind of symbol recognition system, the cultural meaning it has is first of all a cultural value contained in the linguistic style, followed by its cultural clues. It can also be understood why some extraordinary forms and patterns of rebellion appear in their usual patterns, otherwise they can only be derivatives that follow the current. Literati paintings stem from the self-discipline of artistic development. From the perspective of aesthetic awareness, when the richness of the feelings of the subject continues to evolve to a fairly mature stage in social practice
