Objective To evaluate the application results of malaria countermeasures in the distribution area of the Anopheles anthropophagus in the field of malaria recovery or outbreak and provide the basis for the future prevention and control work of this kind of malaria area. Methods A retrospective survey was conducted to analyze and control the epidemic prevention and control data of the spot-breaking and recovery areas of malaria from 2003 to 2006 in Yanjin, Yiliang and Yongshan counties. Results The incidence of malaria in Yanjin, Yiliang and Yongshan 3 counties from 2005 to 2007 accounted for 92.65% of the 11 counties in the city. Occurred in Shijin Village, Dousha Town, Yanjin County and the spotty outbreak of malaria and the substantial recovery from malaria in Huaguo Village, Niujie Town, Yi County, were caused by local cases of transmission in the historical high malaria area; occurred in Mawo Village, Zhongming Township, Yi County The case of malaria in Yanting Village, Juekou Township, Yongshan County belongs to the imported sudden epidemic outbreak in history. The outbreak, recovery and imported epidemic of malaria should be promptly controlled through the application of prevention and treatment measures for malaria incidence in an anopheles zone with an area of> 10 / 10,000 areas. In the following years, the incidence of malaria dropped by 55.56% to 100% in each village. The cases of imported malaria were cured in time and the second-generation cases did not occur. No epidemic occurred in the following year. Conclusion The implementation of the guidance of classification and the principle of stratified malaria control can effectively control the malaria epidemic in the distribution area of Anopheles anthropophagus.
