Kaphar has a master’s degree in arts from Yale School of Art with distinction and is currently living in New York and Connecticut switching back and forth. New York, with its bizarre metropolitan feel, offers him the possibility of keeping avant-garde touch, while relatively quiet Connecticut continues the heritage of history. He has solo and group exhibitions at the Savannah College of Art and Design and has his own studio in New York City. His works include the design of the New Britain Museum, the Seattle Art Museum, and the Museum of Modern Art Museum in New York.
