In the long history of human civilization, the newspaper can be regarded as a long-established media carrier, but its development has not always been smooth. When radio was on, some predicted that the newspaper would be thrown into the trash, and when the television appeared, many thought the television would become the gravedigger of the newspaper. However, the newspaper not only disappeared, but instead became one of the major media outlets. An important reason why newspapers fail to compete with radio and television during the competition is that newspaper text messages are more detailed, in-depth, and easier to save than radio and television images or sounds. The advent of various new communication technologies in the era of new media has made traditional newspapers increasingly narrower in living space. How traditional newspapers can avoid weaknesses and deal with the pervasive network impact is a major challenge facing the current newspaper industry.
