武漢教師進修學院舉辦中學教師業餘進修工作至今已有一年半了。開始時僅有語文、數學各一班,學員共一一二名。講師四人,全系兼任。目前已擴充為語文兩班、數學兩班、俄文一班,學員共二○三人。講師六人,其中專任三人,兼任三人。經過一年多來的摸索,有如下幾點初步體會: 一必須使師生共同明確認識進修工作的方針和任務 業餘進修工作的特點之一,就是學員身分的兩重性——既是在職教師又是學生。從學員長遠利益來說,必須系統地學習文化科學知識作為改進教學的基礎,但從目前工作上的困難來說,他們又切盼從講師處得到的知識,一點一滴都能即刻用之於改進教學。因此,在確定進修工作的方針任務上,便出現了一個矛盾,便是:系統學習文化為主呢?還是提高目前業務為主呢?

From the long-term interest of the students, we must systematically study the knowledge of culture and science as the basis for improving teaching. However, from the current work difficulty, they also expect the knowledge gained from the lecturers to be used immediately To improve teaching. Therefore, there is a contradiction in determining the orientation and task of furthering the work. That is, is there a systematic study of culture, or is it mainly about improving the current business?
