目的:探讨血清总同型半胱氨酸(tHcy)与多发性硬化(MS)的关系。方法:采用高效液相色谱法检测37例MS患者(MS组)和40名正常对照(NC组)血清中tHcy浓度。结果:MS组和NC组血清中tHcy浓度分别为(23.76±1.659)μmol·L-1、(15.50±1.764)μmol·L-1。MS组tHcy浓度明显高于NC组(P<0.01),而两组叶酸、维生素B12浓度差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);原发进展型、继发进展型和缓解复发型,各型MS组血清tHcy、叶酸、维生素B12水平相比较差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论:MS患者血清中tHcy水平升高,可能在病理过程中发挥作用。
Objective: To investigate the relationship between serum total homocysteine (tHcy) and multiple sclerosis (MS). Methods: The concentrations of tHcy in serum of 37 patients with MS (MS group) and 40 normal controls (NC group) were detected by high performance liquid chromatography. Results: The serum concentrations of tHcy in MS group and NC group were (23.76 ± 1.659) μmol·L-1 and (15.50 ± 1.764) μmol·L-1, respectively. The concentration of tHcy in MS group was significantly higher than that in NC group (P <0.01), while the concentrations of folic acid and vitamin B12 in two groups had no significant difference (P> 0.05). The primary progressive type, secondary progressive type and recurrent relapse- MS group serum tHcy, folic acid, vitamin B12 levels were no significant difference (P> 0.05). Conclusion: The serum levels of tHcy in MS patients are elevated, which may play a role in the pathological process.
