Describes the measurement of absolute D-T fusion neutron yield with a large angle (178.2 °) with the alpha particle method and its proofreading experiments. To this end, a trigeminal tube proofing target chamber was designed and fabricated. The alpha particle detectors are placed in directions of 90 °, 135 ° and 178.2 ° with the D + beam, respectively. The α-particle spectra and absolute neutron yields in three directions were measured and compared. The source of experimental error is analyzed. The experimental results are discussed.
