The Story of the Stone I[1]的出版以来,它就引起了学术界的高度关注。
Translation involves the mutual understanding of heterogeneous cultures and is a cross-cultural, cross-cultural and cross-social communication activity. Among them, cross-cultural translation, especially the implication of how to deal with the translation of cultural information, has always been the concern of the translator. Since its publication by The Hawthorne and John Minford, The Story of the Stone I [1], it has drawn great attention from academics. Taking the book as an example, this article explores the strategies adopted by translators in dealing with such issues as the background of poetry, the sources of allusions, social knowledge and life details that are closely related to Chinese culture, that is, the “Cultural Repertory” and “Culture” Simple Translation "and constantly correct cultural mistranslation.
