向培良剧论的理论价值在于:它批判地借鉴了《新青年派》和宋春舫、余上沅等的戏剧观,以强调戏剧艺术的独立性和纯粹性出发,主张戏剧应艺术地关注以人性为内核的人的情绪,并视舞台为人性呈现的最佳场所。从而在现代戏剧史上第一次提出要把戏剧艺术与表现内在的人性相联系,为现代戏剧观的确立和深化提供了崭新的视角,并丰富了其内涵。
The theoretical value to Peiliang’s dramatic theory is that it critically draws on the theatrical view of “New Youth School” and Song Chun-fang and Yu Shangyuan, emphasizing the independence and purity of theatrical art, advocating that theatrical attention should pay attention to the fact that human nature is Kernel people’s emotions, and the stage as the best place for humanity. Thus, for the first time in the history of modern drama, it is proposed that the drama art should be linked with the intrinsic human nature, providing a brand new perspective and enriching its connotation for the establishment and deepening of the modern drama view.
