本刊于1995年8月2日至4日在秦皇岛港召开了记者站(通联站)工作会议。会议由编委会主任、主编唐绍武主持。13个记者站(通联站)的负责人出席了会议。秦皇岛港务局副局长、本刊董事薛德成到会讲活。上海市新闻出版局报刊处处长柴建民应邀到会指导。 会议传达了交通部科技期刊主编会议的有关精神;交流了各记者站(通联站)的纽建及开展活动情况;对明年的报道要点和组稿、发行、广告等工作提出了具体的要求;并重点对本刊创刊十周年活动进行了研究和安排。 各单位在发言交流中,都充分肯定了所在港口的领导十分重视记者站(通联站)的组建及活动。如秦皇岛港务局对记者站经费给予保证,支持有关人员参加汜者站的活动,重视通汛员网络的建设和对通讯员的培训。该港记者站积极开展活动,是目前向杂志社供搞荐搞最多的单位之一。福州港记者站由郑元钦局长任站长,直接受局行政领导,有独立的银行帐号和充足的活动经费。日照、天津、张家港、宁波、九江、南通等港的记者站(通联站)也已建立通讯员网络,步入正常运作轨道。这些单位的成功经验与 This magazine in August 2, 1995 to 4 in Qinhuangdao Port held a reporter station (communication station) work conference.
