基质蛋白是一类存在于贝壳和珍珠矿化结构中的蛋白,在贝壳和珍珠的形成过程中,碳酸钙在基质蛋白的作用下形成高度复杂有序的生物矿化结构。因此在养殖珍珠贝中进行基质蛋白的研究对阐明珍珠的形成机理具有重要意义。概述了养殖珍珠贝中已发现的基质蛋白和它们的结构特点、矿化功能以及在珍珠形成过程中作用机理的最新研究进展,旨在为进一步提高珍珠质量提供参考资料。
Matrix proteins are a class of proteins found in shell and pearl mineralized structures. During the formation of shells and pearl, calcium carbonate forms a highly complex and ordered biomineralized structure under the action of matrix proteins. Therefore, the research of matrix protein in cultured pearl oyster is of great significance to clarify the formation mechanism of pearl. The matrix proteins found in cultured pearl oyster shells and their structural features, mineralization functions and the latest research progress in the mechanism of pearl formation are summarized in order to provide references for further improving pearl quality.
