北京地下铁道的防水方法,从六十年代开始到现在一直是采用多层油毡。虽然玻璃布油毡与纸胎等油毡相比,质量有所提高,但因沥青胶结料本身是一种热塑性材料,感温性强,高温易流淌,低温脆裂。因此,在冬季施工时质量不容易保证,稍有碰撞就造成脆裂破损。在施工工艺方面,目前还只能手工操作,铺贴多层油毡,非常烦琐费工,施工质量也不易保证。针对上述情况,虽进行过研究和改良,但尚无完善的防水方法。国内有部分科研及施工单位,也在努力研
