From the general law of industrial development, the cooperation between Nokia and Microsoft is a reasonable way to grab the living space through more closely integrated innovation during the period of industrial reform. Today’s mobile Internet for PCs and legacy phones is like the PC of the last century for mainframe devices. Demand for traditional products is declining, and new forms of products continue to emerge. But before you can shape a relatively stable industry, you can see the developmental impulses at various levels, including chipmakers, software licensees, and hardware makers. Each level will have a business successor, through vertical integration to create a good enough experience, in order to fight for market dominance. Because once entered the product standardization stage, the main effort among enterprises from vertical integration into horizontal division of labor, and the overall pattern has been difficult to change.
