The article holds that Bertalanfi’s interpretation of the notion of symbols based on systematic thinking aims to clarify the essence of human thinking and activities. Through the specific analysis of the concept of Beta Talfur’s symbol, the author points out that it goes beyond the rationalist bias of traditional philosophy and advances a comprehensive understanding of human’s thinking and activities
