湖北长日核不育水稻是来源于湖北沔阳县沙湖原种场石明松同志于1973年从晚粳“农垦58”中发现的一个自然不育株。我们于1980年引进研究,结果证明,它是一个受核内一对隐性主基因控制的基因型不育材料,其特点具有育性转换的特性,诱导育性转换的因子是日照长度。不育阶段不育性彻底,有利于直接选配强优势组合,开发利用水稻杂种优势。用于轮回选择,将为我国水稻常规育种开拓新的领域,从而有可能引起杂交水稻和常规育种在优质、高产、多抗等综合目标上实现突破。还可在人工调控育性下,开展光学生理、遗传的研究,发展我国的生物科学。
Hubei Changri nuclear-sterile rice is a natural sterile plant derived from the late japonica “Nongken 58” in 1973 by Comrade Shi Mingsong from Shahu original plant in Xingyang County, Hubei Province. We introduced the research in 1980, and the results proved that it is a genotype sterile material controlled by a recessive major gene in the nucleus, which has the characteristics of fertility conversion. The factor inducing fertility conversion is the length of sunlight. Sterility at the sterile stage completely, is conducive to the direct selection of strong combination of advantages, development and utilization of rice heterosis. It will open up new fields for routine rice breeding in our country, which may lead to the breakthrough of hybrid rice and conventional breeding on the comprehensive target of high quality, high yield and multi-resistance. Under the manual control of fertility, we can carry out optical physiology and genetic research and develop our biological science.
