中国当前的社会转型为艺术家提供了难得的机遇,因而现实主义或写实主义很自然再度成为了美术界关注的热点。当下描写现实生活的美术作品并不少见。但我们也发现,在“现实主义”或“写实主义”的名义下,创作常常与主流社会价值取向错位乃至背离。这涉及对超出写实形式或手法层面的“现实主义”的理解问题,即作为一种创作方法的“现实主义”其精神实质是什么?在当代条件下,强调“现实主义”究竟有怎样的意义?今天如何把握“现实主义”这种创作方法?为了使讨论更为充分与深入,我们分两期讨论这一问题。本期着重关注“现实主义”概念的讨论,而下一期,我们关注当前的创作现状。
The current social transformation in China has provided a rare opportunity for artists. As a result, realism and realism have once again become the focus of attention of the fine arts world. It is not uncommon to find contemporary art works. However, we also find that in the name of “realism” or “realism,” creativity is often misplaced or even departed from the mainstream social values. This involves the question of the understanding of “realism” beyond the level of realism or technique, that is, what is the spiritual essence of “realism” as a method of creation? Under contemporary conditions, emphasizing the “realism” exactly what is the significance? How to grasp the creative method of “realism” today? In order to make the discussion more fully and in-depth, we discuss the issue in two phases. This issue focuses on the discussion of the concept of “realism,” and the next issue focuses on the current state of creation.
