中央颁布的《党政领导干部选拔任用工作条例》的一个鲜明特点，就是在干部选拔任用的推荐、考察、酝酿、讨论决定和监督等各个环节坚持了扩大民主的基本方向，进一步体现了扩大民主的要求。学习贯彻《干部任用条例》，必须充分认识在干部工作中拉大民主的重要意义，准确把握扩大民主的科学内涵，把扩大民主的要求真正落实到干部选拔任用工作的实践中去。
