The purpose of this study was to understand whether measuring CSF protein concentration and leukocyte count in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) can provide reference information for the patient’s central nervous system status and prognosis. The authors studied 160 children with ALL and were followed for an average of 72 months (25-143 months). The CSF protein concentration was 0.144.3 g/L, with an average of 0.26 g/L, of which >0.45 g/L was 20 patients, for 5 years. The survival rate was 18%, and the 5-year survival rate of <0.45 g/L was 63% (P>0.05). The white blood cell count of CSF is 0-528×10~6/L, with an average of 1×10~6/L, of which 10 patients are >10×10~6/L, and the 5-year survival rate is 13%. The rest of the patients have survived for 5 years. The rate was 60% (P<0.001). The author divided the children into 3 groups: Group I 133 cases, CSF protein concentration ≤ 0.45g/L, white blood cell count ≤ 10×10~6/L, no original priming in CSF
