自本世纪60年代以来,人类学家、社会学家、语言学家等,对具有不同文化背景的人们之间的跨文化交际问题,产生了广泛的兴趣.在我国,随着对外开放和对外关系的发展,对外言语交际中的文化心理因素问题也越来越引起人们的重视.这些问题反映到外语教学领域,便引发出了人们对语言教学与文化教学之关系的研究与探讨.但由于起步较晚,研究还不深入,不仅认识尚不统一,材料也很零散.本文旨在系统考察文化教学在英语教学中的地位,并进一步从教学方法论上作些研究.
