活塞是柴油机主要的运动件之一,由于它承受机械载荷的同时还受热载荷的作用,因而对它的设计提出了严格要求。活塞结构非常复杂,必须做较多的简化才能用有限元计算,故不能逼真地反映实际情况。用三维应力冻结切片光弹性,能对复杂形状及复杂载荷作用下的结构进行分析,能直观地获得结构全场信息和应力集中点的峰值,特别是可以直接得到设计者所感兴趣的边界应力,因而成为解决工程结构应力分析的重要工具。

In particular, the boundary stress that is of interest to the designer can be directly obtained, Therefore, it becomes an important tool to solve the stress analysis of engineering structure.
