This paper argues that as a winner of the 1995 Nobel Prize in Economics, Robert Lucas has made groundbreaking achievements in many aspects of economic theory: In terms of investment theory, Lucas constructed a framework for analyzing competitive industries Equilibrium model, a method to prove the existence and uniqueness of the rational expectation equilibrium under the condition of uncertainty is proposed. In terms of the theory of the monetary cycle, a monetary economic cycle model is proposed to illustrate the inherent stability of the economic system and the fluctuation of output Is caused by exogenous factors. In the aspect of asset pricing theory, a general equilibrium model of asset price decision under uncertain conditions is constructed, which provides an effective method for analyzing the equilibrium of asset prices. In the aspect of economic growth theory, it puts forward that human capital externalities Model and the “learning by doing” extrinsic model have promoted the emergence of new growth theory.
