语言是人类重要的交际工具,是人们进行沟通交流的各种表达符号。语言是人与人之间的一种交流方式,作为语言存在的物质基础语音是语言教学的基础。因此,学习语言一定学好语音。初中英语教科书把语音教学编排于一年级这一阶段,让学生掌握良好的语调,培养学生的单词拼读能力、学习能力、初步运用英语进行交际的能力。当前初中英语语音教学的现状却不尽人意,学生从小学三年级就接触了音标,初一学生仍有一半以上的元音发的不到位、不够长,双元音不饱满,辅音的吞音增音现象时有发生;单词和句子的重音朗读错位不断;一些学生音标学完后不能独立识词,单词记忆死记单词的字母顺序,个别学生给英语单词加注汉语拼音,没有过单词的拼读记忆关,导致学习的两极分化。
