提出了一种基于子波变换的灰度图像数据压缩编码方案,其基本思路是对子波分解后的最低分辨率亮度子图像采用JPEG编码,对各级边缘子图像进行阈值量化后采用行程编码.对512×512的Lena灰度图像进行编码,在压缩比为52时,峰值信噪比(S/N)P为29.245dB.并获得有较好视觉效果的重构图像.
