取象思维作为中国传统的一种思维方式自古以来在各个领域都为人们广泛应用,在文学艺术领域尤其常见。中国古代文学作品中,往往采用某种事物的征象,以模糊性的思维来含蓄地表达出作者的审美意向和内在情绪。《牡丹亭》是中国古代文学史上的杰作,其语言风格典雅凝丽,故事情节曲折离奇。在全书五十五出中,不仅题目以花为象——题名《牡丹亭》,更取“梅”“柳”这两种植物之象,在全书中起到了重要的作用。
