初中平面几何是一门直观性、实用性、演绎性和逻辑性都很强的学科,对培养学生的思维能力,提高学生的综合素质有着重要作用。在实际教学中,面对几何这门新课,很多初学者认为几何难学,往往望而却步。有同学这样描绘几何:“几何,几何,尖尖角角,既不好看,又不好学。”可见,几何在他们心目中的形象并不是那么“可人”。对于初中生感到头疼的几何,我认为教师的首要任务是抓好几何的入门教学。一、重视学生几何学习兴趣的培养
