Battle of Music In July 1945, World War II was about to end, with Stalin from the Soviet Union, Truman from the United States and Churchill from Britain meeting in Potsdam. In addition to fighting over the future of the world, the Big Three conducted a feast at the banquet, one of the most interesting musical battles throughout the Potsdam Conference. On the evening of July 19, Truman first hosted a banquet. The music at the party was played by a very talented servant named Lister, whose performance greatly praised Stalin, who loved classical music, and even proposed a toast to the pianist. The Big Three left the seat to Leister, the young Sergeant flattered. The banquet lasted until 1 am the next morning.
