The financial crisis is still going on, but when it came to us, the black storm seemed a lot of meekness, and the financial crisis did not seem to affect life except in certain industries. However, a set of data has forced us to pay attention: According to the statistical bulletin issued by the Ministry of Civil Affairs on February 4, in 2008, a total of 10.499 million pairs of marriage registrations were registered in the country, an increase of 10.6% over the same period of the previous year; and the civil affairs departments handled 1,553,000 Yes (excluding the mediation and judgments handed over by the court departments) divorce, an increase of 10.6% over the same period of last year. Therefore, irrespective of the factor of the court, the ratio of the increase in the number of divorces to the number of married couples in 2008 in the country dropped to 1 for the first time in history, and has been greater than 1 in the past years. This means that the rate of divorce has risen in 2008 after experiencing years of consecutive years of climb. Is this a coincidence? Is divorce really related to the financial crisis?
