采用电磁超声换能器激发板波和表面波,分别对16MnR带不同厚度有机涂层的人工裂纹试件和预埋有焊接缺陷的焊缝试件进行检测。检测结果表明,随着涂层厚度的增加,缺陷波幅高度明显降低,可能导致缺陷的漏检。检测前应测定被检工件表面涂层厚度,利用与被检工件厚度相同、声学特性相同或相似的对比试块,标定系统的检测灵敏度,确定仪器的参数。
Electromagnetic transducer was used to excite plate and surface waves. The 16MnR artificial cracked specimens with different thickness organic coatings and the weld specimens embedded with weld defects were tested respectively. The test results show that with the increase of coating thickness, the height of defect amplitude obviously decreases, which may lead to the missing inspection of defects. Before the test, the thickness of the coating on the surface of the workpiece to be inspected shall be measured. The sensitivity of the system shall be calibrated by using a comparative test block of the same or similar acoustic characteristics as that of the tested workpiece, and the parameters of the instrument shall be determined.
