中长跑是在发展一般耐力的基础上,以速度耐力为核心,力量耐力、灵活性为保障,同合理的途中跑技术融为一体的竞赛项目。当代中长跑的项目特点趋势向短跑发展,高步频、大步幅奔跑,运动成绩飞速提高。二十多年来,笔者从事基层业余体校中长跑训练的指导思想就是基础训练,在发展一般耐力基础上以速度耐力为核心,全面发展运动员身体素质,为将来成为高水平运动员打好物质基础。
