The Qinghai-Tibet Corridor is a strategic passage connecting Tibet to the Mainland. Several major projects have been built in this sensitive sensitive zone of narrow geological environment. With the new round of economic development in the Tibet Autonomous Region, major linear projects including the Qinghai-Tibet Highway, double-track railway and high-voltage power transmission and transformation lines have been incorporated into the relevant national development plans. In particular, the construction of the Qinghai-Tibet Expressway is imminent. Controlled environmental geological problems in the corridor are frozen soil. The construction of major projects will have a significant environmental effect while being constrained by the geological environment of the frozen earth. With the increasingly intensive layout of the corridor projects, the mutual influence of the building masses and the corridor The disturbance of geological environment of frozen soil will be increasingly highlighted. In the face of this problem, supported by the key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the research on the thermal effects and environmental effects of the construction of the Qinghai-Tibet Highway on the permafrost corridor is carried out. This paper introduces the research significance of the project, the key scientific issues to be solved, the main research contents and the expected goals in order to provide references for related scientific research and engineering technicians.
