大学英语教学至今已经经历了三个主要阶段,即传统教学、多媒体教学和网络教学。如今的网络化教学已经被应用到传统英语教学中的听、说、读、写、译各项能力当中。随着网络教学的普及,教师面临着教学中的新问题和新挑战。如何使学生在这一新的环境下利用好网络环境,最大限度地收获知识,提高能力,是教师和研究者都关注的问题。教师的角色变更向教师提出了更高的要求,网络在教学领域的应用并没有减轻教师的负担,相反,教师面临的任务更加艰巨。本文从网络自主学习的现状出发,分析教师在网络教学中的重要作用,提出教师角色必须尽快适应信息时代的变化才能使教学质量得以提升。
College English teaching has gone through three main stages so far, namely, traditional teaching, multimedia teaching and online teaching. Today’s web-based teaching has been applied to various abilities of listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating in traditional English teaching. With the popularization of network teaching, teachers are faced with the new problems and new challenges in teaching. How to make students make good use of the network environment in this new environment, to maximize the knowledge gain and improve their ability, is a concern for teachers and researchers. The change of teachers’ roles has put forward higher requirements to teachers. The application of network in teaching does not relieve the burden on teachers. On the contrary, teachers face more arduous tasks. Based on the present situation of network autonomous learning, this paper analyzes the important role of teachers in online teaching and puts forward that teachers’ roles must adapt to changes in the information age as soon as possible so that the quality of teaching can be improved.
