Sun Bin said climbing the sport is white opium, “just try once you can not but love it ”. If you can not try it yourself, you will find yourself sitting far away from the icefall and for the most part will be shackled by your feet, with your hands engaged - crampons and ice axes, touched by dance of ice-flyers from time to time . During my participation in the 2011 The North Face National Ice Climbing Conference, I was thinking about the question of why people are going to work very hard to move upwards, even if they have to hang up in mid-air. It was only when I stood below the icefall that I really felt the reason - in the face of a cold, towering ice wall, my heart suddenly filled with endless reveries of spring, almost never before had such a longing for spring, Where is spring? Where is the place near from the sun? Where is the climb? The desire of the majority for spring lies not in the appearance of the recovery of all things, but more in the love of real life hidden beneath this vigor. Before leaving the icefall has been melting signs, peers know that spring has come.
