Easter is a special (特殊的) holiday in spring. It is a Christian holiday, and it’s on a special Sunday in March or April. It’son April 12th this year. Jesus died on Friday, but he came to life again and it was on Sunday.
　　Today Christians go to church (教堂) and have a special service on Easter Sunday. Many people sing and pray (祈祷) on Easter Sunday, and they think of new life in heaven (天堂) after death. It is a very happy day.
　　Flowers, eggs and rabbits are symbols (标志) of Easter because they are all symbols of new life. In some places, people celebrate Easter by wearing new brightly colored clothes in an Easter parade (游行). Children like the Easter bunny and his baskets of goodies.
　　It’s said the Easter bunny will fill his basket with colored eggs and candies, then he hides the eggs and candies in many places on the day before the Easter Sunday. On Easter Sunday morning children hunt for the eggs and candies. And many children will also color their eggs at home.
　　The oldest tradition is to use dyed and painted chicken eggs as Easter eggs, but a moderncustom istosubstitute (代替) eggs made from chocolate, or plastic eggs filled with candies.
　　
　　复活节是春天里的一个特殊的节日。它是基督教徒的节日。它一般都在三月或四月的某个特殊的星期日,今年的复活节在四月十二号。耶稣是在星期五死去的,但他又在星期日复活了。
　　如今,基督徒们在复活节会去教堂参加一个特别的复活节仪式。很多人在那一天都会唱歌和祈祷。他们会想到死后在天堂复活的日子。这是多么快乐的日子啊!
　　花,鸡蛋,兔子都是复活节的标志,因为他们都是新生命的象征。在有些地方,人们会穿上亮丽的新衣服参加复活节的游行。孩子们则喜欢复活节的兔子和他们篮子里好吃的东西。
　　据说复活节兔子会在篮子里装满彩蛋和糖果,然后在复活节星期日到来的前一天把彩蛋和糖果藏到很多地方。在复活节这个星期天早上,孩子们会出去寻找这些彩蛋和糖果。很多孩子也会自己在家涂他们自己的蛋。
　　传统的复活节彩蛋是用上色或涂色的鸡蛋做成的,但是现代人们用巧克力做的鸡蛋代替了,或者用装满软糖的塑料鸡蛋代替。
