已有报道阻断疟原虫在蚊胃内发育的McAb可与配子体和合子表面三种不同分子量的多肽靶抗原起反应。这些多肽抗原分子量分别为260K、59K、53K(恶性疟原虫),和240K、56K、54K(鸡疟原虫)。单克隆抗体IID_3B_3,IID_3E_3能免疫沉淀240K、56K和54K多肽,IID_4仅能免疫沉淀56K/54K多肽。McAbIIC_5B_(10)能免疫沉淀260K、59K和53K。作者为了弄清以复合物形式存在的三种多肽的性质,采用凝胶渗透层析和化学交联在不改变多肽性质的条件下对这三种多肽在细胞表面的相互关系进行了研究。
It has been reported that McAb, which blocks the development of Plasmodium in the mosquito’s stomach, reacts with three different molecular weight polypeptide target antigens on gametophyte and zygotic surfaces. These polypeptide antigens have molecular weights of 260K, 59K, 53K (P. falciparum), and 240K, 56K, 54K (P.falciparum), respectively. Monoclonal antibodies IID_3B_3 and IID_3E_3 could immunoprecipitate 240K, 56K and 54K polypeptides, while IID_4 only immunoprecipitated 56K / 54K polypeptides. McAbIIC_5B_ (10) can immunoprecipitate 260K, 59K and 53K. In order to understand the properties of the three polypeptides in the form of complexes, the relationship between the three polypeptides on the cell surface was investigated using gel permeation chromatography and chemical cross-linking without changing the nature of the polypeptide.
