目前我国铁路线路上还存在着许多铁路与公路交叉的平交道口,这些平交道口成为高速安全行车的一大障碍。敬爱的周总理生前曾对此作过重要指示,铁道部在“五、五”规划中,也要求在几年内解决这一问题。但在已成线路上设置立交桥,不得不采用顶进方法,这种桥的特点是:用钢量大,计算繁琐。在进行一座桥的设计时,四个人用了四个月时间,每平方米用钢量为410公斤。在设计进度上和材料消耗上,都存在着很大的问题。铁道部第三设计院标准处和北京局要我们参加这一设计。按专业说,我们是搞隧道
