Since Rasmussen (1946) and Desmedt (1961) confirmed that the auditory function of the inner ear is regulated by central nervous system feedback control, it has been reported in recent years that aldosterone instilled by animals can enhance auditory cochlear function. It is suggested that the cochlear auditory function in addition to neuromodulation In addition, there may be humoral adjustments. Therefore, we hypothesize that hormones may be one of the important humoral regulatory factors. In order to explore this issue in depth, it is necessary to focus on the effects of glucocorticoids and mineralocorticoid on normal inner ear function.
