朱宣咸是我国杰出的木刻版画家之一,他的艺术生涯从中国的东方走到西南,一路上充满了对真善美的不断追求,对社会时代的讴歌,对近代化美术事业的开拓。他的一生都在探索如何将中国与西方,传统与现代更好的融合在一起;开辟了二十世纪后期我国的美术事业,也将木刻艺术提升到一个新的高度。 Zhu Xuanxian, one of China’s outstanding woodcut prints and painters, has traveled from the east to the southwest in China. He is full of constant pursuit of truth, goodness and beauty, an ode to the social era and a pioneering task in modern art. His whole life was exploring how to better integrate China with the West, tradition and modernity. He opened up the art career of our country in the late twentieth century and raised the woodcut art to a new height.
