From May 1 to 11， 2013， the 26th Tehran International Book Fair （TIBF） was held at Imam Khomeini Mosque in Teheran， capital of Iran. Attracting 2，500 domestic publishers， over 70% of the total exhibitors and over 4 million visitors， the 11-day fair is one of the book fairs in the world with the largest number of participants and most bustling atmosphere.
Authorized by the General Administration of Press and Publication （GAPP）， China National Publications Import & Export （Group） Corporation （CNPIEC） organized the Chinese delegation which comprised 22 members from 15 publishers in Beijing， Shanghai， Heilongjiang and Xinjiang.
China’s exhibition， themed on boosting Chinese-Farsi translation and recommending Xinjiang’s publications， was highly valued and correctly guided by the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the CPC and GAPP. Focusing on displaying and selling Chinese publications and promoting Chinese learning and cultural exchange， the delegation introduced Chinese cultures greatly and enriched the content of cultural exchange making productive achievements.
