汪秉彝先生、杨孝斌先生认为:“数学情境是一种激发学生问题意识为价值取向的刺激性的数据材料和背景信息。是从事数学活动的环境,产生数学行为的条件。”根据认知理论,数学课堂教学过程应该是以不断地提出问题并解决问题的方式来获取新知识的问题性思维过程。解决问题首先要提出问题,著名的数学家华罗庚曾说:“难处不在于有了公式去证明,而在于没有公式之前怎样去找出公式来。”因此,教师无论是在数学教学的整个过程,还是在教学过程中的某个环节,都应该十分重视数学问题情境的创设。
